The Hamilton Distillery Company Limited

The Hamilton Distillery Company Limited (HDCL) is a craft distillery located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, approximately 40 miles west of Toronto.

HDCL focuses on small batch, craft made products, utilising a “farm to flask” model of providing simple products of the highest quality, using traditional Canadian ingredients such as grains and botanicals. HDCL believes in tradition, quality and integrity. Our craft spirit recipes are steeped in time honored tradition, but with an eye to today’s consumer.

HDCL uses heritage and organic grains acquired from Canadian sources and incorporates flavours from across Canada. HDCL is seasonally minded, making use of the abundance of the Canadian harvest, and paying tribute to our rich Canadian history and bountiful regions. HDCL has acquired a farm in the Niagara Region where important input components are grown such as heritage grains, wild honey, pine, mint, wildflowers and juniper.

HDCL is currently designing a destination distillery experience for Hamilton, as well as a line of cannabis infused (alcohol-free) cocktails.  

As a social benefits-minded organization, HDCL takes great pride in its’ Canadian heritage and also supports Canadian causes. Each brand at HDCL is linked to a cause and a portion of proceeds from that brand are donated to that community.
